I am a neutered male, about five years old and a true hairless Crested and weigh around 15 lbs. I have no known health problems. I have been in the same household almost my whole life and was very loved, but not very socialized to the world outside my house. I am doing very well with the other dogs and the cat here in my foster home, and I am trying to interact with them. So I could be an only dog or live in a home with other pets.
Benjamin wants you to know that he walks well on the leash, loves his walks and would love to have a fenced in yard to call his own. He has a bit of trouble with potting in the house, so he is wearing a belly-band while inside. He is easily trained and would do great with a well established routine. He had been crate trained, but had a traumatic experience in his new foster home, so would prefer a home where he won’t need a crate. But he is basically good in the house and is the sweetest dog!
Ideally, Benjamin would love a home where he would be smothered with love and affection. He would do well in most households with dog-savy children over 10 years. Benjamin wants to be someone’s everything, and give all his love to them! He is sometimes a little nervous meeting new people, but warms up quickly. He loves to be close to his people-he will sit in your lap when you sit down, follow you around the house and insist on being under the covers at bedtime. He minds well and can sit on command. He takes directions well when on a leash. He does well for a bath and ok for nail trims, he has beautiful skin. He likes to burrow in blankets or dog beds.
