Bartholomew
Bartholomew is a special boy who will need a very special home. Bartholomew is around 2 years old and we believe he is the victim of an animal attack.
Bart's back left leg is very different from most piggy legs. It is obvious his leg has been broken in a few different places and his past owners never sought any vet treatment for him which caused the leg to grow back together crooked. He does walk on it and he even popcorns on it, but he does have quite the limp.
Also Bart's toes on that leg are not normal. He has one normal toe; one that looks like it has been torn, causing the nail to protrude but never grow; and the third toe is missing altogether.
Despite all of this, Bart is quite the character. He has a ton of energy and is often seen running back and forth and he eats just like a normal piggy should. He devours his hay and veggies all in one sitting and loves being held. He can nip from time to time, but nothing painful at all.
Because of Bart's past injuries, he may develop arthritis in the future. He needs a home with someone who will keep him on soft bedding and who will love him for the very special little boy he is.
Bartholomew does not get along with other guinea pigs.
The adoption fee for Bartholomew is $25. All potential adopters are required to fill out an application prior to adoption, no exceptions.
