My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Briel. Briel is about 9 months old (date of birth is estimated 4/1/15); she has been felv/fiv tested (negative), vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Briel came to us from another rural shelter because they had too many cats and unfortunately not enough homes. Briel is a quiet girl but she is a youngster and still likes to play and play. She can be a bit shy at first so if you approach her too quickly or if there is a lot of activity, she will hide but then come out when things settle down. She doesn't care to be carried around but she is very happy to sit next to you and she enjoys attention. She loves to play rough with her foster siblings and would like a playful cat in her new home. She is frightened of active dogs but would be okay with well-mannered dogs that do not bark a lot. She would be happiest in a somewhat quiet home. Briel has taken an interest in sitting by the door in an attempt to escape outside. Because of this, we have noted that she cannot go to a home with small children. Cause for Paws is a small all-volunteer Minnesota nonprofit 501 (c) (3) group whose main focus is on finding homes for stray and abandoned cats and kittens.
