Here's what the humans have to say about me:
HENLEY: 2 y/o male Hound mix. **SPECIAL NEEDS**
He is a special boy with Special needs, and he deserves a special home. Henely is Deaf. Unfortunately for Henely, his owner found out he was deaf when he was out hunting and took him to the Shelter. Fortunately for Henely this has probably saved his life. Not only did Henely have a full blown Urinary Tract Infection, he also had a massive kidney stone that required emergency surgery. This poor guy has been through a lot in his short time from being pulled from the kill shelter and brought to the safety of our rescue. Good news is, he is now neutered, up to date on shots and has recovered well from his kidney stone removal surgery. Henely is going to require a special home with someone who will be patient with his needs such as learning hand signals, as well as receiving the proper food for his kidneys. Henely is a very sweet boy, gets along well with other dogs, doesn't seem to really bother cats, and is fine with kids.
