My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In this Rescue we have run across many pure bred dogs. Padmé is the most recent. Pure bred American Bulldog. Proof that even expensive and papered dogs end up in shelters and rescues. Neglected in her first home, one of our girls took her in as a side project (remember our courtesy post for Vixen?) Even after talking for hours with the adopters and doing a home check, the second home only lasted a week and she came back even more broken.

She is now am A&O dog. We are working through her trust issues and getting her up to a healthy weight. Before adoption she will be spayed. As we get to know her better we will update with her progress. Padmé will require an adopter who is familiar with bully breeds.

If you are interested let us know and we will get you an application, but please understand, as with all of our dogs, we will pick the home we feel is BEST suited for her. She will not be ready to leave the rescue for several weeks as we continue to work with her.
