Rocket came to Angels Rescuing Animals with his sisters, Marley and Princess, because their owner was forced to move where she was not allowed to have her dogs. These 3 dogs were very well cared for and well loved. They all have been well socialized with people, children and other well mannered dogs.
2/27/16: UPDATE from his foster Mom and Dad ~ Rocket is happy and playful and so pleasant to be with. He loves laps, toys and playing fetch. My grandchildren adore him. I think he got his name for his ability to jump! Rocket is crate trained and will sleep in his crate, but prefers cuddling in bed with his humans. Rocket will alert you if someone is coming, but is not yappy. He has a pleasant sounding bark with a hound like howl mixed in. Rocket is curious about our one cat; however he does not bark at or chase the cat..
Their birth date is April 16, 2015. Rocket weighs 13 pounds.
Rocket's adoption fee is $250.00
This is not the kind of dog to leave in the yard while children are in school and adults are at work. A securely fenced yard of appropriate size for potty and play is required. This may be modified under certain circumstances. A home check will be done and references checked. Applicants should live within 2 hours driving time of Auburn, CA.
