My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Django was discovered as a stray who loved people. He was brought into rescue and placed in a loving foster home that's teaching him how to be an inside kitty. So far, he loves it! He is extremely affectionate, has a LOUD purr, and his favorite thing in the world is to be brushed. He knows his name and comes running when called, just like a dog! Django is a beautiful cat who looks golden in the sunlight and has stunning gold eyes. He is a majestic creature to behold! Unfortunately, because he had lived his whole life outside, he did contract FIV. This is not a death sentence, however, and should not be something that prevents him from being adopted. It merely means he should not be kept with aggressive cats that might provoke a fight. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds and is not typically considered to be a threat or problem in a household with healthy cats. Django is a true treasure and deserves a loving forever family just as much as (if not more than!) a "healthy" cat.
