My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reggie is a longer than typical Dachshund and has some arthritis in his back due to his length. He is in a foster home to monitor and work with some medications to keep him comfortable. He is doing remarkably well and is getting to a point that he will be less restricted. He would do best in a home that people are home more as he doesn't like it when his humans are gone at school or work all day. He walks fine and is a happy boy. He likes new people and other dogs. He is easy to get to know and a happy boy overall. ATTR will work with whomever adopts him and will provide the tools and resources needed for a smooth transition into a forever home.

Alsip To The Rescue (ATTR) strives as a rescue to make sure that when our adopters take home their new rescue they feel they have the support and access to all resources which ATTR can provide. If you want to learn how you can set your new rescue up to succeed and blend in with your family come to our Meet The Trainer sessions each weekend. We will give you tips on what to do when you first bring home a new rescue. Saturday at Noon in St John and Sunday at Noon in Frankfort are free Meet The Trainer sessions with more free sessions to be added during the week soon.
