Hello! My name is Eddy! I'm a 4 month old Chihuahua Mix puppy who needs a bit of TLC. I was 'found as a stray' and brought into a kill shelter... I was scared as can be and was given the name 'Nipper' as I nipped out of fear. I didn't hurt anyone, but I was very scared. I haven't bitten my foster mom AT all. I do scream if you move me too quickly because it scares me. I also have a fear of being hit so when you touch my backside, I also yelp in fear. I've been checked at a vet, and there's nothing visibly wrong with me. I just need time to trust. I'm young and can learn to trust again. I have a weird shaped head and eyes that are set funny, so I may have even been beaten before my head hardened. HOWEVER, I AM a huge cuddler when I trust you. It doesn't take me long at all to warm up! I need to learn some table manners but I was also starving, so I'm learning I won't have to go without food again. I like other dogs once I come out of my shell and I like cats as well. I cannot go to a home with kids because of my fear nipping and I don't like to take treats nicely yet. I will need a home without young kids to help me get over my fears. I'm housebroken and crate trained and ready for my new family to teach me that it's okay and that not every human will hurt me.
