Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am truly a very sweet boy found in high kill shelter on death row and I'm now properly named Mellow Yellow, as much as I love to be playful, I am also quite chill and laid back. Since my birth parents are not in my life, I believe I am Mastiff and Sharpei mix, approximately 2 years old and currently weigh a gentle 90 lbs, even though I am quite large, I do believe I'm fully grown. I enjoy playing with humans, especially my foster daddy. I look forward to romping around the dog parks, meeting new people and their dogs as well. We believe I was previously an outdoor dog, as I just learned the difference between concrete, wood, tile, and carpet flooring. I love to be lazy and relax indoors where I feel safe and loved. I was very cold and scared, but now I'd love it if you would let me enjoy being allowed to live my life with access to some comfortable furniture, as I came with large calluses on my body, evidence I was living 24/7 on concrete with no bed, blanket, nothing. I'm currently learning not all humans are going to hurt or abandon me, and learning to trust after I spent much of my short life so far, in long long periods of loneliness. My calluses along with my heart and spirit are on the mend :-) I look forward to going with the dog school and exploring dog parks with a pack of pups several times each week. Even more than that, I love knowing I will be fed AM and PM meals every day. This is my chance at a new, positive, exciting, and comfortable life, will you love and care for me forever??? Please?? My rescuers tell me now they had the pleasure of watching my eyes transform overnight from fearful for my life to grateful for a new one. If you're looking for a big dog that's an even bigger sweetheart then PICK ME PICK ME please, I am the dog for you. As with every rescue pup, it will take a little work earning trust and building an incredible human-canine relationship but it is more then rewarding.
