My story

Patch showed up in an elementary school yard looking for food. She might have been abandoned there but it was obvious her home was not nearby. She begged food from the security guard for several nights until he decided to rescue her and contacted us to help find her a good home.

Patch is just a very sweet young girl who is happy to be indoors and wants to be your friend. She would make a wonderful kitty for someone who wants an easy going loving kitty.

Patches uses her scratching post and litter box. She is spayed, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, current on shots, dewormed and flea free.

For more information please e-mail foster at phyllis891@att.net. Thank you! She may be at our next bi-monthly Saturday adoption event from noon to 4:00pm at Petco, 32391 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA ?92675 in Plaza Del Rio Shopping Center. This is just a few minutes off Fwy 5, take the Camino Capistrano exit #81. Please visit our website at www.cats-at.petfinder.com for our adoption schedule and an application.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
