My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Tiger. I'm a 4-year-old classic tabby who loves to snuggle. I can be a scaredy cat when new people come over, but I'm totally devoted to my person with snuggles and cuddles and occasional conversations. I love to play with toys, I'm crazy for hair ties, I love to climb my cat tree, and sleep on ledges. I would do best in a home where I'm either the only cat, or I have a male cat friend.
If you would like more information about Tiger please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application.
Thanks.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
