Mr. Jake
Boxer / American Bulldog / American Staffordshire Terrier / Chow Chow mix
Meet Mr Jake. He is a 4 years young Boxer mix whose interests include playtime, playing, and some more playtime. He loves having something to keep him busy, so his new home will need to provide him with his own toys, bones and lots of play time to give him an outlet for his active mind and body. This sweet boy is house trained, rides well in cars, is leashed trained, has his basic commands down, gets along well with people, and enjoys a good game of fetch
He has a prey drive, so if cats will run he will chase, otherwise he is ok with cats. Jake is ok with other dogs and may even let some kiss on him but it is his people he wants to be with. He did ok when around small children. He is a lover, not a fighter! He wants to cuddle all day if he could, when he is not playing fetch of course, which is all the time.
Jake will be happiest when he can be a part of his person's daily activities. His family will need to be an active one. He is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, licensed and a complete health workup. Mr Jake has some permanent scaring and missing fur on his body from the neglect he was rescued from. Mostly his legs and groin. His eye sight is not so good on foggy or darker days. He will go home with his new family with all his medical records and DNA test results.
