My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"LENNIE" is a sweet gentle 3 year old feline. Though he is a bit shy in new situations, the second photo really shows his personality. Underneath the initial shyness, is a really charming and funny cat. He likes to respond to us when we talk to him, by talking back. And when he does, he krinkles up his whole face and nose and opens his mouth. He has such a cute voice! And there is "not a mean bone" in this cats body!

Lennie has gone through a lot before he came to us. Though his former life on the streets has caused him to be scared of loud noises and cautious of new situations, he has that typical good natured, "personality plus" that is so common with all orange cats. Once you start petting him he will flop over for tummy rubs and start kneading . . always a good sign.

Lennie is very healthy and has been tested (negative for Felv and FIV), vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He has a gorgeous medium length coat that does NOT matt.

At least for now, we are not recommending that Lennie be adopted to a home with small children. We do not know how he does with dogs, but perhaps a quiet older dog with low activity level would be fine. Here at our sanctuary, he does not seem aggressive with the other cats. Like many felines, when they first arrive, they are somewhat overwhelmed by so many other cats in their face. But yet, he has shown no signs of desiring to fight .
Lennie needs a quiet indoor home and pet parents that will love him and allow time for his personality to blossom and shine. We also offer a FOSTER TO ADOPT situation. ... kind of a trial run. .. . ask us about this!
If you are interested in seeing Lennie he is currently living in South Orange County CA. Please call or email us for more info. . ..949-337-8372 (no texting please) or email: healinghopecs@att.net
