Peter Pan was rescued about a month ago from a hoarding situation where he was living with 28 other dogs. His former owner did not provide any information about the dogs..... not even their ages or names, so Peter Pan lost more than just his home. He lost everything.
We are estimating him at 8 years old, but the vet thinks he might be a bit younger. He still has lots of energy and loves to play, especially with squeaky toys or other dogs.
We believe he's a Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer mix. He's about 25 pounds full grown. We've started him on crate training, and he's doing fantastic with it! Due to his age and history, we do not recommend him with children because it's doubtful that he's ever been around them.
You can meet Peter Pan Monday through Saturday 1pm to 7pm. As a senior, his adoption fee is reduced to $100, which includes his neuter, heartworm testing, vaccinations, dewormings, flea treatment and microchip. He has also had a full dental since he had a few bad teeth when he first arrived.
