Can you imagine being born at the busy intersection of Hwy 820 and Rufe Snow? Pablo and his siblings were. By the time an LOA volunteer found out about these kittens, all had been hit and killed except for this wiley boy. Pablo (Yes, he grew up outside Don Pablo’s restaurant - chicken fajitas are his favorite!) bounced between several local restaurants in that area and managed to find enough to eat (wouldn’t you feed him too? Look at those eyes) and dodge the cars.

​He was successfully trapped at about 6 months old, completely feral, but interested enough in humans because they represented food. He received his vetting and was earmarked for the Barn Cats organization when, you guessed it, he began to respond to his foster mom’s taming. Fast forward 4 months later, her comment is, “if you had a camera in my house, you wouldn’t be able to pick out the feral cat”. Pablo lives with adult cats and kittens, both large and small dogs and LOVES to lay on his back like a baby in foster mom’s arms. With the exception of being shy with strangers, he acts like every other cat in the house. While in his foster home, he has bonded with Riley, another LOA kitten about his age. Pablo and Riley literally walk through the house “hip to hip” and trill to each other when out of sight. Because of this bond, we’ve decided to adopt them out as a bonded pair. If you are looking for the PERFECT companions and have the ability to be patient for Pablo to learn to love you, please consider this boy. He has survived against all odds and deserves a forever home!
