Mr. Banks
German Shepherd Dog

Meet Mr Banks. He is a 4 years young German Shepherd Dog whose interests include cuddling, walking, hiking, and carrying around anything he can find with his mouth. He loves having toys to play with, so his new home will need to provide him with his own toys, bones, playtime, and some training to keep his mind and body healthy. This sweet boy is house trained, is somewhat leashed trained (better with a leader), has a few basic commands down, he gets along well with people, children, and some dogs.

He has a prey drive so he nips cats and small dogs. Banks likes to cuddle with you or lay down with you, wherever you may be or whatever you may be doing. He is a lover, not a fighter! He is a very sweet and goofy dog. Mr Banks is always one to share his toys with you and get you interested in what he finds interesting.

Banks will be happiest when he can be a part of his person's daily activities. His family will need to be sure that Banks feels like he is part of a close knit group. He is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, licensed and has a complete health workup. Mr Banks is still growing his fur on his body from the neglect he was rescued from. Banks received two recessive genes from his inbreeding parents. One is partial albinism and the second is slight gigantism. Due to Banks being left in a backyard for his whole life, he has not had opportunity to be socialized properly. This leaves him over excited about meeting other dogs that some dogs find this frightening or threatening. He will need more work with introductions. He will go home with his new family with all his medical records and DNA test results.

Are you looking to add a big, handsome, active, smart, loving boy to your family? What about a social companion ready for any adventure with you? Come see Mr Banks! He is available for adoption through the Miss Gabriel Foundation.
