Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Aimee means beloved, and that is exactly what this sweet, dainty kitty will be to her adoptive family. Aimee knows her name and loves to be brushed and petted. When her foster mom sits on the sofa, pats the cushion with her hand, and calls Aimee, this little sweetheart runs and jumps up on the sofa as a dog would do. She does not even mind if her foster mom double-tasks by working a Sudoku with her right hand and scratching Aimee's ears and chin with her left. Aimee just purrs contentedly and keeps curling up in circles to reposition herself.
Aimee is very playful and loves batting a wire spring toy, a catnip sock, and various balls and mice around the room as well as up in the air. She seems perfectly content to entertain herself, although she gets even more exercise playing with the other cats in the foster-cat room. She is no couch potato!
Aimee is very social with her human foster mom and with the other friendly foster cats, but she can be a little shy if she is intimidated by aggressive cats or big dogs. Aimee has perfect scratching manners and uses both the vertical post as well as the horizontal turbo scratcher.
Aimee is a beautifully marked "tabico" or tabby calico with a white bib around her neck, white front mittens on her tiny paws, white tummy, and high white go-go boots (also size small and dainty). You could also call her a white and torbie, sometimes called a patched tabby, which is a gray or brown tabby with random orange dapples. So it looks like Aimee has gotten splashed with caramel in a candy factory. She has a prominent dark blaze down her nose and some interesting leopard-like spots on her forearms, which all adds up to one pretty kitty.
Her estimated date of birth is July 2007; even though she is "older," her recent pre-dental blood tests were all within normal parameters. She had been abandoned at a PetSmart when Buster's Friends brought her into the program in 2011. She was adopted and lived with a family for several years but was returned because she was not comfortable with their family boxer dog. Will you open your heart and give this sweet girl her lifetime home? She will more than repay you with cuddles and snuggles, which are guaranteed to lower your blood pressure.
Aimee is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/ FIV, microchipped, de-wormed, free of fleas, and all ready for her indoor-only home. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Aimee, and we can arrange for you to meet this loving and affectionate girl.
