Attina came to us along with 3 sisters and one brother through a Craigslist ad. Her start to life was one of seclusion and isolation. Having never left her Kennel that she shared with 4 sisters and her brother. Urine stained, walking and laying in their own feces. and living in filth. These babies had never seen a vet, been bathed, had a toenail trim, been on grass, or even out of their cage, except on the occasion that the breeders felt like cleaning out their cage. These babies were FOR SALE and they didn't have much time because they were moving. When I got the call from the man asking if we wanted to buy them I explained that we do not buy dogs, we SAVE them from kill shelters, bad homes, medical reasons and asked about their vet care. After an extensive conversation, I KNEW these babies needed us. Well I have gotten away with "OH BY THE WAY", I have saved another dog. BUT I didn't feel that rescuing six without consulting my partner was wise. I spoke to him and he said for me to make the call and do what I felt was right. SO, we went to the home to look at them. Seeing their situation & desperate NEED, That was when my partner said, "Of course we will buy them, ALL!" He knew I wouldn't leave there without them. We were informed that one had already been committed. We had to wipe them down due to the feces & urine all over them and brought them home to discover that one has an Upper Respiratory Infection due to lack of shots & vet care. These babies are now being treated and will never know that life again. 4/18/16 They are doing Wonderful and two of them have found their Furever Homes. They have been FULLY VETTED, Neutered/Spayed, Microchipped, Boosters,Rabies shots & wormed. They know about Love and have a little bit of manners. They no longer shake in fear and are full of Life and Love.
