My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dear Tip came by his name honestly. A month ago when he was rescued from a puppy mill and handed over to the CP intake volunteer the first thing he did when he emerged from his crate was to wag the tip of his tail. Since then he has been neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated, and had his overgrown hind dew claws removed because they had grown into his paws. His mouth was infected and he had several broken teeth so he wound up having a total of 12 teeth removed. This little guy, in spite of all the pain he endured, was still able to trust a stranger and wag his tail. He is now in good health and nicely settled in his foster home.
After just 2 weeks he has learned his name, to sit for treats, to come when called, and to walk on a leash. He has also learned to run up and down 3 flights of stairs. Granted it is in a higgledy-piggledy kind of way, but he does make the whole distance by himself. He sleeps all night in his crate, and uses the great outdoors as his potty. He often keeps his belly band dry all day and his crate is always dry and clean in the morning after sleeping without his belly band. He is very eager to please and loves to cuddle. He is so eager to cuddle that he has practiced jumping and is now able to jump up on the couch for a snuggle.
