My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is an 8 year old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix from a rural shelter.  He is very afraid of other dogs. He is very afraid of people until he gets to know you and then he won't get off your lap.  He likes to be with his person, but is fine when left alone for a few hours.  He is not crate trained, but he doesn't need to be.  He is reliably housetrained and is wonderful in the house.  Charlie is very overweight due to an indulgent owner, however when the owner became unable to care for him any longer, he ended up in the shelter. This turned his world upside down but he has adjusted to his new life.  He is completely vetted and ready to go.  He will be a wonderful companion for the right person.
