My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Good morning everyone I would like to introduce myself...my name is #StewieBPFF I have a story I would like to share with you. It was on the 4th of July..I took off...and never found my way back home...I was terrified by all the loud scary bangs..pops...the fire that fell after the loud noise was enough to terrify anyone...I got all turned around..and I was scared to death...all alone...at night...and then by the grace of God...someone saw me...picked me up...and with no other choice...took me to "Animal-Care-Control-Palm-Bch-Cty" I didn't know why I was being brought there...but when I met the lovely ladies at the intake desk...I figured..it sure beats being alone out on the street...they were sooo very nice to me...they took my picture...put my face on the internet...in hopes that my family would come and claim me...and days went by...and no one did..they must not have realized I was gone...didn't they care about me? How do you not look for your boy? I was very very sad in my heart...I didn't know what may happen to me...I was scared...Well as it turns out..I got to meet a man named Marcel there...he works with all the pups at Animal Care and Control.....and helps us...socialize...and behave...and especially...not to be snippy...well you could just imagine how nervous I was...not knowing anyone really...and I was a little snippy...he said it's gonna be fine...once I feel comfortable with humans again...and I shouldn't worry...well he sent an email to a woman he knows who has a rescue...and asked her...if she would be willing to come to ACC and meet me...and that woman is aunt Liz from "BarkyPinesAnimalRescueSanctuary and can you guess what her answer was? She said yes...yes she would and yes she could...and guess what? She did just that...her and her sister aunt Mary...came to ACC yesterday...and was in my kennel when they arrived...I was a little nervous...but I didn't get snippy...then mr. Marcel...brought me to his office where aunt Liz and aunt Mary were waiting with miss Suzy...and we met...I was amazed at how gently those two woman spoke to me...they acted like they knew me forever...they said not to worry little man...we are gonna bring you to Barky Pines...where you will make some new friends...get socialized..and eventually...find a new home...well I almost fell over with excitement ...considering my family didn't wanna come and find me...I was relieved to know...people do actually care...and then mr. Marcel told aunt Liz and aunt Mary...that he would only reach out to them...out of all the other rescues out there...he knew they would be able to help me...cause they have done so much good things with other snippy guys they had rescued...they even had a trainer go to their house for one fella...and he then found a beautiful home..and he's happy as can be...I knew after listening to them speak...I was in the very best hands...they care enough...to help us all out. I have never felt such relief in my life...soooo after all the paperwork was signed...I got a Rabies vaccine...and off we went...we drove out to the country...I sat on aunt Mary's lap...looking out the window...she held me close and I felt comfort...in her arms...her and aunt Liz told me...everything is gonna be fine...it takes time.as everyone knows..to acclimate into a new environment...especially if you're like me...and get nervous and snippy...well I wasn't at all...in fact...I liked being with these two woman..once...we got to their house...I heard all the chickens and geese in the yard...sqwaking away...birds overhead...singning lovely songs..I knew right then and there...things could only get better...aunt Mary walked me around the yard...I marked my place at Barky Pines...they brought me inside...I got a cozy bed...a cozy blanket...and a great dinner...aunt Liz let me sleep in her room...with their own pups...and that made me very very happy in my heart...not every new pup gets that priveldge I felt very special...I got the best nights sleep I'd had in days..and when I woke up this morning and realized it wasn't a dream...I was soo very very excited to see them...I will be here...learning my manners...interacting with other pups...and once they feel I'm ready...I will be able to go to my very own forever home...I am so very very thankful to have this chance to find happiness...and I am so thankful to my new friends at Barky Pines..for taking me in to their rescue...and especially to mr Marcel...who thought I was worth saving...to all my new friends at ACC...thank you...thank all of you for reading my story...thank you for caring...and especially...for sharing...woof woof -M- \l ""
