Na-shoba is a beautiful aussie collie mix 6 year old male who came from an animal hoarder. he had never been walked, groomed, bathed or been to a vet. before we rescued him. Once Na-Shoba knows you and is comfortable he will let you know he loves to play fetch. he will also snuggle up and want to be on your lap if you let him. very loving, sweet , shy big boy. his coat which had to be shaved off due to the matted condition he was in, has now grown back in and is beautiful with very collie type hair. Na-Shoba could be a wonderful addition to your life, if you are a nurturing person. He is now heartworm negative. He is a very very loving dog, NaShoba is a medium to low energy dog and is rather quiet.
Na Shoba has realized that not every other male dog will attack him as was the case with that hoarder, but he is still afraid of a strange dog barking at him and runs back to safety--the car or house. Na Shoba would need to be introduced to any male dog with careful supervision so that he will not panic.
Na Shoba has shown remarkable ability as a thief. In spite of the fact that he is a big dog he can steal a food bowl, toy or blanket from another dog and have it back to "his spot" before anyone notices. He will also bring a ringing alarm clock to you to shut off. he is worth the time and effort he will need to completely get over his past.
he only negative thing about Na Shoba is that he does not understand what a young child is. He treats them like a pup, he will growl at them to make them stay away. He can be walked around children but would not at this time be suitable for a home with young children.
