My story

Sheila is about 10 pounds and 2 years old!

Sheila is a complete sweet heart! She was found as a stray in Houston and turned into the Harris County Shelter. She appeared to be well taken care of…they just didn’t bother looking for her. Sigh….she was terrified in the shelter. At home…she turned in to a silly girl!! She is happy all of the time! She loves to play with other dogs and she loves toys! She is crate trained and she is also fed in her kennel. She enjoys her kennel time. She is really good about going outside, but prefers to be escorted…she can’t be bothered to figure out the dog door. She makes her foster mom smile daily. She is loving and affectionate! She looks like the lovechild of a Chihuahua and a Blue Heeler…her coloring is so striking.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250. In addition, a spay/neuter contract is required.
