My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy is an adorable 3 year old 5 pound Morkie (Maltese and Yorkie mix) being fostered in Suwanee, GA just outside of Atlanta.



His adoption fee is $450. All adoptions through United Yorkie Rescue require a veterinarian reference, personal references, and a home visit.



Teddy could stand to gain a pound or two. He has a lovely long tail and the cutest ears you've ever seen. One stands up at attention and the other flops over at a rakish angle. Teddy is new to his foster home and is a little bit confused. We are patiently waiting to see his real personality. Teddy is crate trained but not yet fully house trained. He loves lots and lots of attention and is happy to be carried around or to be sitting in his person's lap where he can get lots of head and belly 'scritches'. Teddy came from a home where he was not the only dog but where his designated owner in the family just didn't have time to give Teddy the attention he craves. The family thought it would be in Teddy's better interest for him to find a home where he can be the center of attention. Teddy gets along with other dogs but is not comfortable with small children. Supposedly Teddy can be very vocal but right now he's as quiet as a mouse. It may take him some time to settle in and once he does we will provide more details about his personality.
