My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Cooper. I am about five years old.

I am settled in at my foster home in NC and really love being an inside dog. Right now I am trying to make up for all the years of no hugs and kisses. I get so excited when I see my people that I wriggle my whole body and have the biggest smile on my face. There was an eight year old girl who I used to live with, and I really liked her. I would make a great only dog or a companion for an older dog since I don't really need to play. I am living with three other dogs and get along fine, but I sure would love a “furever” home. I am not crated during the day because I am so well behaved. I stay in my own room and enjoy looking out the window. I do have a thyroid condition that will require medication for the rest of my life but the meds are not expensive.

If you love my infectious smile and are looking for a little red guy with a sweet black face that will love you forever, then please consider me.

Also, the rescue is looking for a new foster home for me. There is nothing that I did wrong. My current foster parents just need to focus on their other dogs right now, so it would be helpful to them if we found a new foster for me.
