Abandoned by his former owner in the apartment building where he had been living, Pepe was found by another tenant and fed there for four weeks. Pepe came to No Kitten Left Behind-MN through a transfer program with a lot of emotional baggage - a broken heart, shy and alone. Despite the trauma he had endured, he immediately adapted into his foster home, developing trust to his new surroundings and offered his appreciation by showing his very soft, sweet personality.

Given his background and all that he has been through, Pepe is initially timid as he needs to trust a kind hand but once he does, he warms up to you by giving much affection and finding a place in your lap. He is very playful, giving a unique mew when carrying his toys, and gets along very well with other cats.

Pepe has formed a strong bond with his foster buddy, Rome. We would like to find a forever home for the two of them together.

Pepe uses his cat scratcher and litter box without issue. He has been vet checked, neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations. He has also tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.

The adoption fee for Pepe and Rome is $300 + tax
