TRAGEDY in IOWA for 2 dogs left behind by human companion's sudden death!!! NEED YOUR HELP! Only three days before sheriff takes them to HIGH KILL SHELTER (Dubuque Humane Society). Scooby is a 3 - 4 y/o Boxer/Shepherd mix. Neutered, UTD on shots and indoors almost all of the time, so HW is unlikely. He was not on preventative. Scooby is exuberant but friendly.
Ogre (in a separate ad) is a senior female who this fellow rescued when his sister, who was a hoarder, passed away. Ogre has come so far, but now she will be lost without him. I fear she needs to go with Scooby, or she may die of a broken heart. She is tiny, a Chihuahua mix, and she has an amazing personality. Both need to be safe from the hands of authorities who will take them to their certain deaths, where they will die alone and afraid!
