Hello, my name is Inky. I'm a super sweet young boy, about 5-6 months old. I have the most stunning coat colors ever. While at first I appear to be a solid black kitten, if you look closely, you can see my faint tabby stripes mixed into my dark, black fur. Add in my stunning green eyes and I'm as handsome as they come! My brother Peaches and I were rescued together. We get along great and enjoy companionship, affection and attention. I'm still just slightly shy with strangers, but once I get to know you, I'm quite the lovebug. I love snuggling with my foster mom, I even give kisses and little nibbles on her fingers when she doesn't pet me enough. I enjoy nuzzling my head in her hand because I'm so happy enjoying the affection. I also do really well with other kitties, especially if it's my brother Peaches. He and I would really love to find a home together! He's sort of my "guide" with new things and shows me the way when we play and explore. Peaches leads, I follow. I also love all the other adult kitties in my foster home and I learn by watching them. They've already showed me all the best warm spots on the kitty towers by the window. My brother and I are already neutered, combo tested negative, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go. Please adopt us and give us a forever home! Adoption fee: $100. Adopt a pair: $150. From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2016: October 15, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Sunday, October 23: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m. on the fourth Sunday each month, come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Event dates for 2016: October 23, November 27 and December 18.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
