A very pregnant, stray Rebecca was rescued - just days before whelping - while wandering aimlessly in the middle of traffic in a very busy street. She gave birth to eight healthy, adorable puppies on July 23, 2016. Her puppies are all grown up, and now she's ready to find a home of her own. Rebecca is a smart, silly dog, and she is very kind and cuddly. She is a young (< 4 years old) terrier mix. Rebecca is very nimble and she loves to play. Rebecca gets along well with other dogs of all ages. She is crate trained and housebroken, and she knows basic commands in English and ASL (we use 'drop' for 'leave it' in ASL). Rebecca does need some quiet time each day, so we don't think she would do well in a house with young cats or very young children. Older cats who aren't as active and children over 6 years old should not be a problem.
