Here's what the humans have to say about me:
✰✰ BLINKIN Male 1 year of age and AVAILABLE - for more photos of BLINKIN please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/blinkin_2016.html ✰✰
BLINKIN, 1 year of age and 41 lbs, is a good-natured, energetic & loving young boy. He loves praise whether inside or out. His drive to please (along with his love of food) should make for smooth sailing in the training department. He has learned sit & down and getting the hang of stay. He adjusted quickly to the use of the doggie door which helped in his house training. BLINKIN is crate trained. He’ll follow a treat into his crate any time, and then lie quietly until let out. He is quiet all night long.
BLINKIN settled quickly into his foster home while getting used to the household routine. He was super easy to assimilate into the pack (3 females, 1 male), getting along with all the other dogs right away. They all enjoy play time together. BLINKIN will need a cat-free environment as he is very animated and focused when he sees kitties.
He likes chew toys so it’s easy to distract him from what little chewing he does to the random dog bed. He enjoys chasing the tennis ball, but thinks it more a game of keep away then bringing it back. BLINKIN is learning from watching the other dogs and of late has been dropping the ball to play chase and retrieve. His favorite activity may be snuggling on the couch. He loves putting his head on his foster dad’s lap for after-activity loving!
BLINKIN is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (http://norcalbcrescue.org/adopt_info.html) and wish to enquire about BLINKIN, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.
BLINKIN is being fostered north of Corning in Tehama County, California.
