My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dolly is looking for a family to call her own and help her overcome her fears. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She is just the opposite because she is scared of most things. She will need a patient family that will help her trust again. She has never experience hugging, kissing, etc. so she doesn't know what that is yet, but you can tell she wants to trust humans. She definitely loves to be loved on, wants her belly rubbed, and wants to bury her head into your lap. Once she gets her confidence back, she will be one amazing smart dog. She has the temperament to eventually be a therapy dog.

Dolly is approximately 2 years old, if that, long legs and body. She is a growing puppy and is still pretty clumsy. She was confiscated by Animal Control when her owner was evicted from their home. She was tested with a small dog so far and she wanted to play. When the small dog growled at her, she stopped and backed up, so we know she is not aggressive towards other dogs and will respect their boundaries. When she plays, she likes to "talk" so if you aren't expecting it, it could sound intimidating.

Dolly is up to date on shots and spayed. She is currently in boarding and would like to find her a home very soon.

There is a required home check and the adoption fee is $250.
