My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toaster was found by a real live pet detective! Yes, they aren't just in the movies. Here is her story:

"I left a late night work meeting with my brother on Wed night, close to 2 am, and figured I'd better gas up because I was on empty, and had an early day the next day. Gas station is right down the street at Ohio and Hedgecoxe. Tires were squealing a bit on the turn, so I pulled over to the air pump after filling up, to air up. (Which I still haven't done, I just realized...). I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye, and there he was in the shadows near the air pump, right at the corner of the intersection. He ran when I pulled up and went right into the bushes. I grabbed some Vienna sausages (always in my car) and tossed one his way but away from traffic. He was very hesitant but hungry!! I dropped smaller pieces in a trail towards me. After about 10 min he was eating from my hand, trying to get the whole can from me! I scooped him up and brought him to my car where I scanned him. No chip. :( So I took him home and fed him a proper meal. Reported him to animal services as found the next morning, and started his stray hold, set him up a nice little kitty apartment (my guest bathroom). Cleared everything out from under the sink and put blankets in there and watched him on a webcam while I was gone. Posted all over social media, drove around looking for signs and stopped at several nearby apt complexes, nothing. So thankful to be connected with your rescue who can care for him and find him a really great home. He such a doll! ❤️❤️"

What a great story! Toaster found just the right person to feed him and take care of him that night. Now he needs just the right family to love him and give him a forever home. He is a wonderful chunky-headed loverboy. Toaster gets along with kids, cats and dogs, but he would also be fine as an only. He is vet estimated to be around a year old so he has lots of life and love left to give and receive. If you have a warm sunny spot in your heart and window for this sweet fellow, please fill out an application and adopt him today. Toaster is terrific!

NOTE: Pictures follow the course of Toaster's rescue. First picture is Toaster following the trail of Vienna sausages. The remaining photos are of Toaster in the home of his angel pet detective rescuer.
