Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We rescued Milly as a stray ... She is a sweet girl .. Loves to play know some basic commands sit,lay and stay ... She is fully potty trained and crate trained ... Loves being outside ... She would love to have some children that are older to play with NO TODDLERS!!! I don't think she would hurt them but if she tried to jump up on them she could knock them down ..
She is leashed trained and halter trained .... A fenced in yard is a MUST!!. I do not want her as a stray again ... She is good with other animals I have 3 small dogs that she has been around ... We placed her once and had to get her back ... The home she went too had an aggressive female boxer that wanted to fight her every chance she got ... Milly didn't fight back she is really docile ... So, no home with aggressive dogs ...
The ONLY draw back Milly has is she is heart worm positive ... We have been doing the slow kill which is a heart worm pill once a month ... She is UTD on her shots ...
I know a vet that will do the heart worm treatment for 300.00 he is located in Lexington NC ... If you have a vet that will do it that is wonderful!!..
I will want to do a home visit before leaving her .... She loves to run so if you have land this is the girl for you ...
She is NOT a dog for a apartment life ... I am placing her because we live in a single wide and she deserves better than we can give her .... I would be willing to turn her over to another rescue if there is one that is good for her ... She has never been around cats but when she see's one here she tries going through the fence to get it so I would say NO cats ...
