Tye's Story...
Introducing Tye, a 5 1/2 year old Pittie mix looking for his forever home. Tye has visited us numerous times, but this time, his owners did not come back for him. This being said, Tye is used to roaming about his neighborhood. Leash walks will be better for him than a fenced in yard, at first, to help him adjust to his new home and surroundings. He is a social guy who enjoys making new friends, people and canine. He also appears to be good with cats. Tye has lived with kids before, and basks in their attention and company. He is a hefty boy who may have some Bull Mastiff in him, too. Tye has mostly been an outdoor dog. We know he can't wait to enjoy his glory days resting in a home with an adoring family! His adoption fee is $160 and includes his vaccines, deworming, fecal exam, heartworm test, registered microchip and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tye, a Joliet American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Joliet, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
