My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chase was out of time at a local "kill" shelter in Marion County Oregon in rough physical shape; picked up on the run on a rainy October day, he was brought to the shelter where he was on stray hold for several weeks, but no one came. Underweight and infested with fleas, chase had chewed at the back half of his body with almost complete hair loss over his legs, tail and lower back. Consequently, he developed 2 different skin infections and also developed infections in both ears. As if this wasn't enough, Chase was found to have a retained testicle and required an abdominal neuter to be put up for adoption.

A fantastic foster home stepped up and committed to loving Chase through his month long rehabilitation. Chase has come a long way and is ready to find his "fur-ever home". Chase is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. He loves all day dogs of any size and various farm animals as well. He knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. Chase is friendly and eager to please. While we recommend all our dogs complete an obedience program with new adopters, we believe Chase will no doubt graduate with honors.
