My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Maura. Let me tell you a little about myself — I'm four yrs old., a spayed Maltipoo (best guess), weighing 16 lbs. I've got all the basics down: housebroken, crate-trained, proficient in using the dog door at my foster mom's home. Although we don't have a cat at our foster house, I think I would be fine with a dog-savvy cat. Also, with kids, I'd probably prefer older, calm children. And, as far as a canine sister or brother, that would be my dream come true!! I love having a live-in fur friend. I love toys, and I'm pretty good about sharing them with my humans and my foster sister. Guess the one fault that I am trying to overcome is my initial shyness. Initially, it takes me a bit of time to warm up. So, if you exhibit some patience in getting to know me, that would be appreciated a lot. Also, that's why a fur buddy would be great for me; he/she gives me that little extra bit of confidence I need. Oh, one more thing... people tell me I'm quite the beauty.
