Meet these sweet sisters Sookie and Winky. These dilute calicos have the most beautiful coloring. Sookie warms up to new people quickly and likes to be pet on her head, back, and chin. She likes to cuddle and to be where her people are. She is an excellent work-from-home buddy. She likes to play, especially with ribbon toys and loves her scratching post At one point, she learned to sit and give her paw on command, although without regular practice she might have forgotten, but we’re sure it would come back. She is a somewhat chatty cat, especially when she wants food. Both Sookie and Winky like sitting by the window to watch the world. Sookie is bonded to her sister Winky and they must be adopted together. They will do best in a quiet home with no children. They were born around 9/16/2013.

Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a Zoom group seminar on cat care. We invite both novice and experienced alike to attend. Then you would sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.
