Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abby is little toy poodle, about 4 1/2 pounds and 4 years of age (DOB 9/16/2004). She loves to be held and is a super cuddle-bug! Belly and behind the ear rubs are favorite activities. She would be happy to sit on your lap for hours. She is very mellow but does get very excited when she meets new friends. Abby enjoys going for walks, is crate trained and house-trained. She will cry when you leave her alone as she wants to be by your side at all times.
Abby has been accustomed to being the only child and now that there is a human child in the family and another on the way, she is not a happy girl. She has been the baby of the family for the past four years and now her life has turned upside down. She does not seem to like children, although she will tolerate being petted while on a walk or at the park. But, we think she would be much happier in a home where she is the only child. She also prefers no other dogs or cats. Just her human family!
Abby does not like to get groomed but will tolerate it with a professional who knows the ropes. She is a good eater and doesn't have any specific dietary needs. Abby knows the commands to sit, lay down, turn around (she will turn in a circle), and shake (shake hands). She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
