"Hello. It is so very nice to meet you. My name is Tank and I can't wait until we become the best of friends! You see, I am a little lonely right now, because my owner passed away, which is why I had to come to the Humane League. Everybody is nice here, but I miss having my own person to play ball with and give kisses to. Honestly, I am a little worried about getting adopted, because I am a pitbull and with my ears cropped the way they are, some people think I look a little scarey. All I am asking for is a chance to get to know you, though. I have gotten to know all of the staff here at the shelter and they all love me. They say that I have lots of energy and love to play. I also enjoy to pal around with other dogs."
