Personality: Sully is a very nice dog. He is gentle and well
mannered. He likes everyone he meets and is
good with children.

Energy Level: Sully is very laid back with a low energy level.

Packmates and Cats: He is good with other dogs and gets
along with the cats. He will chase the
cats if they run but does not try to
hurt them.

Anyone applying and children needs to be exp in managing a ex large dogs on leash .We encourage continued work on leash respect and baisic training , Since coming into foster He is learning and He does not pull
and walks along beside you

and always goes out to go to the bathroom.
He does not bother the garbage and is not a
counter surfer. He does not chew things.

when called, but he seems smart and I am
sure he will learn to respond soon. He knows
how to sit.

He likes treats and takes them very gently.
He does not play with toys. He will fetch an

Crate: Sully is crated at night and does well. He is left in
the kitchen loose with my dog during the day while
I am at work. There have been no issues or mess.

Traveling: He is good in a vehicle.

Routine: Sully is up around 6:30 in the morning. He goes
outside and then has breakfast. He is let back out
for a bit and then brought in. He is let outside again
at noon. He is fed his supper at 4:30 and if the
weather is good he is taken for a walk. The rest of
the evening is spent lounging on the couch with me.
He goes out before bedtime which is around 10:00
and he goes in the crate til morning.
Sully loves to be around people and I feel he would
do well in the right kind of home.

We welcome your application for consideration.

The process to apply for adoption is to do an adoption application online at www.adoptapet.lucknow.on.ca and send it in via email to petrescue@hurontel.on.ca

If the dog would suit your home then we set up a viewing at the foster home, where your family will attend, along with any existing dog.

If all goes well then a home visit is arranged by a local volunteer to your area.

Once it is confirmed that the dog would suit the environment and family then we set up an adoption from the foster home.

PLEASE NOTE - WE DO NOT DO SAME DAY ADOPTIONS, DELIVER, OR ADOPT TO HOMES WITH INTACT DOGS OR CATS - FOR THE SAKE OF OUR PET
*********************************************************************************************

*** HOW IT WORKS - ADOPTION INFORMATION ****
Please read ** ALL** the information provided below on the process to
save time and facilitate the process in a smooth manner.

The adoption fee does NOT cover the cost of vetting or supplies for these animals - If you cannot afford the adoption fee
(that is a fraction of actual REDUCED VETTING expenses incurred) then you should reconsider adopting.
These animals deserve forever homes, good food, regular vet care, and emergency care as needed.
Pets should never be euthanized by their owners simply based on financial consideration when something goes wrong.
