My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar was recently introduced to our rescue a week back by the name Secret. She was a secret to her previous owners husband. She has quickly won our hearts and therefore we changed the name to Sugar. She previously lived with a Newfie and a Yorkie, with cats and horses. She recently got into a altercation with the neighbors yard when she was left to roam and while in heat. This is why will not be placed with other dogs. She is in a foster home with two male Saints, and does great in the yard and at the pet store walking around animals and having them in her presence, but she does not like sharing her toys or treats and can be very anxious around them. This may change with time, but for now she must be the only dog to allow her to decompress and be the center of attention. She heals beautifully on a regular leash. Sits when you stop walking, has perfect behaviors in the house and a pure delight. She is currently under weight and could stand to put on another 25 pounds. We believe she will make the perfect companion for a family that likes to walk, go hiking or take their dog on errands.
