Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie is a 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix. There is another breed in there that gives her a stocky build, it could be Pug or something else. Sadie is good natured and intelligent. She currently weighs 27 pounds but it would be good for her to lose a few pounds. Sadie and her best friend Peaches were surrendered to a shelter and we believe they have been together all of Peaches life. For that reason we are trying to find a home for them together.
Sadie is a happy and fun loving dog. She likes to initiate play with her friend Peaches. She gets along with other dogs in addition to Peaches, but prefers to play with her. Like most Terriers Sadie loves her food and will do a little dance to try and convince you to reward her with a treat. She is going to need an owner who can resist her cute moves and help her trim down a little. Sadie likes to explore her surroundings but she does not bark much at all, even when she finds a rabbit on the other side of the fence. She just watches it in interest. Sadie is a great passenger on car rides and likes to sleep in bed with you near your feet.
Sadie is housetrained and has good indoor manners. She has not needed to be crated in her foster home. Sadie gets along with other dogs in addition to her BFF Peaches. She does well on a leash and enjoys being outdoors with her people and Peaches. Sadie is a good car passenger who enjoys the occasional ride. Sadie would probably not enjoy kids under 10 years of age.
Sadie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm tested. She also recently had her teeth cleaned and some lipoma’s removed. Now all she needs is to find her forever home along with her friend Peaches. You can find Peaches’ information on this website as well.
