My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Veruca, or Ruca for short, is a senior chihuahua that was dumped when her owners no longer had time for her. Ruca is special needs that we are told she was born with. Her hind end seems to be formed differently, giving her a funny little wobble. This doesn't stop her though and she gets around just fine, she just needs help getting up steps or onto the couch/bed. Ruca is a people dog and she just loves to be in someone's lap.

She would make a great companion for almost anyone. She loves to spend time with people, but is independent and doesn't mind being at home for extended periods -- say long work hours or college classes, etc.
