Meet Willow (formerly Blanca) from Cumberland county animal control. We were there yesterday and found out the shelter was beyond FULL so we decided to help a few extra dogs. Willow was one of them, how could we say no to that little face. Willow has had a rough start, she originally was confiscated by animal control in January as part of an abuse case. She was emaciated, full of hook worms and infested with fleas.
Willow is a 2 year old, staffordshire bull terrier. She weighs 37 lbs and stands no taller then a beagle. I actually have an old English bulldog that she quickly became best friends with and she is smaller then her! She is current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be spayed in the next week. Once spayed she will be ready for her forever home.
This girl is absolutely amazing. She is housebroken and crate trained. GREAT with kids. Loves other dogs and ignores cats. She is very energetic so a meet and greet with other resident animals will be required, she loves to play but that doesn't mean everyone will love to play with her.
