Meet Jasper!! This cute little guy will steal your heart. He is approximately 17-18 weeks old and weighs approximately 20 pounds. He came to us as a rescued stray so we really don't know what breed of dog he is or his exact age. He is black & tan which could be a mix of Rottweiler, Doberman, black and tan Coonhound or German Shepherd. His ears were tipped over so cute at first and now they both stand up tall like a Shepherd. He has a very thin long tail and once you meet this sweetheart you won't really care which breed he is because he is just so cute and lovable. It is always a guess when adopting a puppy with no known background as to the parents, but we think that he will only be a medium size dog when fully grown (maybe around 50 pounds). He is full of life and full of being a puppy!! He loves other dogs and would love to have another playmate at his new home. He is used to having a fenced in yard at his foster home so that would be nice as well for his security. He is totally crate trained, not housebroken yet, but just a few accidents at his foster home. At adoption he will be neutered, current on vaccines for his appropriate age, microchipped, fecal tested, be current on flea and heartworm prevention as well. If you are looking for a wonderful puppy, we think Jasper will fill your heart with love and companionship for the rest of his life. We are looking for someone that has the patience to work through the puppy stages, can provide lots of chew toys for those very sharp little teeth and a puppy class would be recommended.
