Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We rescued this girl after she was seized from a cruelty/neglect case. She had to stay at the shelter for over 6 months before we were able to rescue her because she was used as evidence in the case. Her owner was charged with neglect and cruelty, and Ember was then welcomed to our rescue.

Ember is such a funny dog and she knows it. She's a bit of a diva, clown, and lovebug mixed all together in one stunningly gorgeous package. Ember HAS to have at least 2 other dogs in her home. She plays a LOT and is very insecure if she isn't part of a pack. Ember plays like a young dog. She will pester the other dogs into playing or she will speak her disapproval if they choose to nap instead of give her attention. She talks A LOT. Ember is really good at communicating her needs and wants, and that can be an issue with small children. She will snap at you is she's not happy with what you're doing, but she doesn't bite. She just communicates like a dog, and you must understand dog behavior to understand this girl. Ember LOVES her crate and is completely crate trained. She is protective of her crate, so we only let her in it at feeding time. She enjoys toys and treats and she knows some really adorable tricks. The perfect home for Ember would be a home with at least 2 other huskies. She plays, vocalizes, pounces, and romps like a husky. This girl will cuddle with you on her down time, not your down time. She is known to pounce on you and start singing the wake up song at 5 am.... She has a sense of humor and thinks life is a party.
