My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you do not like to groom a dog then I am the dog for you. All I need is an occasional brushing or combing and a bath and I am ready for some action. My name is Duke and I am around 4-5 years old. My heritage is unknown, but best guess is American bulldog with some collie. My foster is not really sure what I am mixed with but it seems to be a good combination. I have a sweet temperament but my build says i am a big, hunkin' dog- I am a strong, sturdy, stay by your side dog, i love attention, but I am not a in your face kind of guy. I I do like to play with other female dogs, but not addicted to having a playmate for 24 hours, so being by myself would be just fine. I will do best with children 8 years or older or no children. i have completed heartworm treatment and I am now on preventive. I am current on shots and neutered. I am housetrained and know how to use a doggy door. I am a good rider and do well on a leash and have good recall so you can depend on me coming when I am called.
