Hi there. I'm Madison, but you can call me Maddie. My story is one you've probably heard before. I was out cruising the streets one night looking for true love and animal control found me instead. I never did find my prince, and my family never came to pay my bail, so now I'm looking for a new family to love and cherish forever and ever.
Although I no longer feel the urge to roam (they took care of that at the shelter), I still wouldn't mind finding a handsome prince to be my best buddy and pal. They let me romp and play with a few handsome boys and friendly girls at the shelter and I had such a blast running around with my new friends. I have to admit I was a bit nervous at first making new friends, and I wasn't sure what to do. We went slow and it took me a few tries to get the hang of it and now I just want to play, play, play! I also love going for walks and I'm learning not to pull so hard when I'm on a leash with the help of a no-pull harness and a head halter. I'm a quick study and really enjoy making people happy, so I'm more than willing to work on my manners if you're willing to help me learn. I don't mean to brag, but my friends tell me, 'Maddie, with your beauty and brains, some lucky person is going to hit the jackpot when they adopt you!'
I'm a joyful, friendly gal and I love making new friends. I haven't been around cats, so I'm not sure how I feel about them, but I'm willing to give it a try and see if we can be friends. If you're looking for your new best friend, I'd love to meet you.
