My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings Husky Lovers! Just take a look at this face we have right here. This is Bear and he's a Husky/German Shepherd mix, a little over a year old, about 60 lbs, neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Bear is shy, but an absolute sweetheart who prefers women; a single woman would be best as he tends to be scared of men and wants to attach to one person. He isn't a dominant guy at all, more timid/shy than anything, and it will take him a little time to warm up to other dogs. But after he's comfortable, he plays really well with them. He would be happy as an only dog or with a friend. He is being fostered in a home with a Pit Bull and a cat. Bear wants to be with you at all times and will follow you everywhere you go. Basic training would be beneficial for him as he hasn't had any in his previous life, but he is potty trained and knows how to sit. We'd prefer a household with kids ages 12+, working from home is a plus or taking him with you to work (due to his separation anxiety), and a 6' fence minimum. Bear will make an amazing companion with a little love, time, and patience. We just know that after some time, his timidness will fade and he'll bust out of his shell with confidence! If you're interested in Bear, please contact THR for an application today! Bear's adoption fee is $200.
*Please note that a home check is required and at this time we will travel within a 150 mile radius for adoptions
